More Reasons to Register for The Jefferson!
Along with improved paths, parking, and transition zone, there are so many reasons to Register for the 2017 Jefferson Sprint Triathlon & Duathlon.
- A smaller race. Unlike the Monticelloman, the Jefferson is designed to be a smaller race. This is perfect for 1st timers but still offers the competitive field that top triathletes like to compete in.
- It’s a family friendly race! Your spectators can play on the playgrounds, take a walk around the park or even use the facilities (pool, etc) if they are YMCA Members. There is plenty of shade and great vantage points for your spectators to cheer you on.
- Located in the quite town of Crozet, there will be light traffic, friendly spectators and plenty of local restaurants to try post-race.
- The FREE Kids’ Dash is a 1k run around the paved path at the park. What better way to get your kiddos moving in the morning.
Random Row Brewing Co. is going to have tickets for $1 off beers for racers.
Les Sinclair the am radio voice for 95.1 is announcing so you know he will keep the energy up.
Thom Richmond, quite possibly the most knowledgeable guy in tri and founder of California Triathlon is running transition.
A coffee truck will be on site!
