Entertainment executives oversee the investors, studio, network or corporation’s projects and they are responsible for ensuring the project has the funding it needs throughout the project’s lifespan to see it through final delivery for successful distribution. They also serve as the liaison between the film’s financiers and the project’s Producers.
In addition to their funding, they may also serve in a hybrid creative/supervisory role. In this capacity, they’ll find an intellectual property (IP) and package the production by finding the right talent and format for the project. They’ll then take the project to studios and see if they can attract a buyer.
Entertainment executives also play an essential role in selecting the project’s top talent, including well-known Actors and Directors, and in hiring Producers, Choreographers, Accountants, or Assistant Accountants for the project. They ensure the project sticks to its budget and delivers on its creative promise.

Billy owns the long-time sporting event “The Watts Summer Games.” The Watts Summer Games (aka, The USA Summer Games) sporting event was held for over 500 kids at the LA Memorial Coliseum. As a way to give back to the community, Billy took on a role as an Adjunct Professor for Carnegie Mellon University in the Heinz School’s Master of Entertainment Industry Management Program from 2008-2009. The focus was on Marketing and Entertainment
